  • Supplies Needed

    18mm Glass Cabochon glued to 1” black round donut (bead frame)
    with hole through donut to thread wire through
    7-Pearls or beads approximately 6-8mm (optional)
    2 - 8" pieces - 20 gauge copper wire
    4 - 12" pieces - 20g sterling silver wire (balls melted onto ends of each wire with creme brûlée torch later) 6” piece - 20 gauge sterling silver wire will ball melted onto only 1 end
    12’ piece - 26 or 28 gauge copper wire
    20' piece - 26 or 28 gauge sterling silver wire
    Copper jump rings or snap bail
    Finished copper chain 

  • Tools Needed

    You may only need some of these items but it's good to have a weaving kit including these items:

    Round & flat smooth jaw pliers

    Round nosed pliers
    8mm & 6mm mandrel
    Hammer
    Bench block or small anvil
    Permanent marker & Ruler
    Needle file
    Needle tool - beading awl
    Wire cutters
    Liver of Sulphur (optional)
    0000 steel wool & small wire brush & polishing cloth
